TruAssure Insurance Company Advantages

There are quite a few advantages to choosing TruAssure for your benefit needs. TruAssure is an insurance company that offers multi-benefit solutions. This is very beneficial for an employer, especially if the human resource department is already stretched thin and does not have a lot of time to deal with coming up with a benefits package.

The experience and expertise of TruAssure helps with any questions or concerns an employer or employee may have about their benefits package. Because TruAssure offers multiple quality products in one package, it is very convenient for both the employer and employee.

An advantage to working with TruAssure Insurance Company is that although the insurance products are of high quality, they are offered at a great value. In addition, because one carrier offers all of the products, you only have to deal with one eligibility contact and one bill, which helps on the administration side.

TruAssure Insurance Company is a part of Delta Dental, also of Illinois. This means that TruAssure has access to the pro-active, exceptional service employers of Delta Dental, as well as their consultants and brokers.

“I signed up for coverage with TruAssure almost a month ago through the Heathcare.gov site. Since this time – I have not EVER been able to reach anyone. Have made countless calls with extended wait times.

Finally today, I got through! Only to be told that they could not understand me – and disconnected. Company does not respond to emails. Taking my business elsewhere.”

“Like the other reviewer, I have tried to contact them to pay them. Phone calls never reach anyone. Voice mails are ignored. They have not responded to any emails. they have a way to register online, you fill out the form and the website errors out. Totally absurd.

Honestly, it’s incredible these people are even in business.

    Going somewhere else.”

“I really think this a scam operation. I signed up for dental insurance using the Affordable Care Act website on December 29, 2014. IMMEDIATELY, I tried to PAY for my first month’s premium using their website. I was quite skeptical since I needed to enter my SS# – and the website didn’t seem secure.

Well, I did try to go through with it, entering very sensitive information, and to my horrors – NOTHING happened! My payment was not processed, so I thought that this was a scam. I was scared that my SS#, along with my name and card # was stolen.

I freaked out even more when I called DURING BUSINESS HOURS the next day, and NO ONE ANSWERED!!! I was allowed to leave a message, but again, confirming my fears, NO ONE CALLED BACK!!! Since then, I have only received bills from them (again, with only that useless website for payment “”processing”” – or is that identity theft processing?), absolutely no information on the plan I supposedly signed up for, no information on my benefits, if I were ever able to actually make a payment.

I’ve really tried to get SOME kind of information, using the phone, e-mail, website – you name it, but this company has absolutely NO service whatsoever.

DO NOT trust this company! Do not give them your money – this is a SCAM!!!”

“I also agree with previous poster – they don’t answer their calls. You have to wonder how many people work here; maybe three.

I am going to call my dentist and make sure they accept this insurance otherwise I’m canceling today because you can’t trust companies you can’t make contact with.”

  8. Christopher Bronson says:

“I concur with the previous posted reviews. TruAssure took forever to get their website and phone service set up. Once they did, the website was devoid of information for a good while and you were on hold forever to speak to a representative.

Recently, their phone service improved and the representatives were courteous and helpful. My impression started to improve. However, I realized that I was going to have to cancel my health insurance plan through the Healthcare Exchange and that would cancel my TruAssure dental Coverage. I called them and they told me that it would have to be done through the Healthcare exchange.

Meanwhile, I had submitted for benefits done in January. They took forever to pay and when they did it was a fraction of the amount billed. Their approved Usual and Customary Fees are far less the true Usual And Customary fees for this region.

Also, despite knowing that I was canceling their coverage as of the end of March, they took the premium for April from account and refuse to reimburse. They are thieves that use bureaucracy as their getaway vehicle.

DO NOT USE THIS ORGANIZATION FOR ANY SERVICE. It is a scam and our government is perpetuating it on us by allowing them to participate in the exchange.”

Was directed by an agent to the wrong policy for my needs. Attempts to make this right with multiple calls and emails went nowhere in the end. I was out between $220 and $300 depending on how you look at it. STAY AWAY!

I was a tru assurance customer for 5 years. I joined this plan because they offered plans for dental implants. Two years ago, I filed a claim and was surprised they reimbursed me $1,000. for two dental implants. I filed a claim for 3 dental implants in December of 2021. I June 6 months later I received a reimbursement for $469. I placed numerous calls, finally I am told because I had three implants they downgraded the coverage as if it were a denture. I could not believe it and was told I
should read my coverage. I cancelled my coverage immediately.
